TelGas™ SCADA

Our TelGas™ SCADA systems have been in operation since 1999 and support a wide range of gas monitoring applications from small stand alone systems equipped with wireless communications to large networks supported by a local server.

TelGas Point to Point

This basic configuration can be used in situations where a single instrument requires logging and monitoring. This solution is ideal for both permanent or temporary monitoring via a laptop or for more permanent usage with a desktop. The logging and mimic functions are achieved via a desktop or laptop Windows based PC. Connection between instrument and PC can be made by a direct MODBUS link on RS485 or via a TelGas™ Micro unit over an Ethernet network.

The TelGas™ Micro unit is programmable and can be configured to talk any asynchronous protocol to the instrument via either RS232 or RS485. TelGas™ Micro communicates back to the server over Ethernet. The client PC logs data to a standard Microsoft Access database and is able to export and Graph data directly to Microsoft Excel.

TelGas™ Net

This system is ideally suited to networks of instruments which require data to be displayed and logged locally. The system also has a remote monitoring capability and may also be used for data backup analysis and management information TelGas™ Net utilises a dedicated low cost server to capture and archive local data while being able to support up to 8 client PCs each showing mimics of the local plant.

TelGas™ Site

This configuration is designed for embedding into existing controls. The compact TelGas™ Midi can be fitted into an existing control scheme, communicating with the PLC via a serial link. TelGas™ can also be equipped with supervisory controls permitting plant functions to be controlled remotely over the internet and local serial interface. Another feature of this TelGas™ package is the ability to alter set points remotely from the client PC.

TelGas™ Wireless

This system incorporates a TelGas™ IO unit which has both local serial interface and physical I/O capability. The unit is often coupled to local instrumentation such as a gas analyser and can also be connected to local sensors measuring parameters such as flow and pressure. The system is normally fitted with a GSM modem however many different configurations a repossible including Radio or a direct link to an ADSL router.
